well if the versa is any indicator seeing as it's the same chassis as the juke i would say more like around 2500lb. maybe 2600lb. max seeing as they will most likely have to reinforce the chassis a little bit for sport car duty :), last i heard is that they were going to use the juke chassis on the new mini-Z, but we'll see i guess |

Great. I haven't even picked it up and I'm already thinking about mods. lol |

Heard the same. the juke is an incredible 2866lbs. Which is amazing for its overall size. I think they can chop 150/200lbs on a small coupe. :excited::excited: |

I also looked at the Rogue before I went with the Juke. I liked it, but the Juke was more affordable, had more options, and it wasn't bland and generic like your typical crossover. I only had the Juke for less than 2 months before I traded it for another Z. Had I owned it longer, I probably would've appreciated it more and kept it. I still would've gotten a Z, but I wouldn't have bought a Sentra for the wife. The Sentra, in all fairness, gets WAY better gas mileage and has more interior room. Every time I step on the gas in the Sentra from a dead stop, I miss the Juke.

No way I'd get rid of the Z for the Juke but I'm pretty stoked about the Juke. I can hardly wait to do a little road trip action. :driving:

If you can afford the NISMO I would definitely go for it! |

I'm pretty happy with what I got. Sticker was $21k. I got it for just over $18k. http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5f9afab8.jpg |

I was kind of disappointed, my rear windows didn't come tinted so I'm going to have to get them all done. :( |

Yeah I noticed that. I didn't realize tint was an option for the rear windows. |

Yeah but Rogues aren't fun.

EVERY time the wife and I are in the rogue we both agree it's the car we hate to love b/c it does exactly what we need our dd to do so well but also so uneventfully that it is frustrating. :icon17: awd-check good mpg for suv-check can fit up to 8ft long cargo-check comfy for drives-check enough power to get out of it's own way-check fun-no check :( stylish-no check, not bad looking but not setting the world on fire either. pluses outweigh the minuses. If only they made a nismo rogue... |

The way Nissan is acting with the Nismo badge, expect a Nismo Rogue and a Nismo NV3500 van. :icon17: |

I really like the Rouge a lot. I can't wait to see what they do with the next version. |
Update: This comparison is not of the Juke Nismo - the turbo'd Juke with NISMO tweaks puts horsepower at 197 and the TQ at 184.

Juke Nismo-ized... just enough cool to be a man machine..
Saw both the Juke R and the Juke NISMO at ZDAYZ - Thanks to Bryan Settle attendees often get to SEE IT FIRST... Though none of us can afford the R, and the Juke NISMO hardly compares to the family Juke, the looks of the NISMO is what one imagines if the Juke Hulked Out and turned green.
For reasons too numerous to list I wanted the AWD version.. and as one poster commented - its too bad the AWD doesn't come in 6MT. Even so - and even with an automatic (selectable FWD/AWD or VAWD) tranny this little beastie is a lot of fun. The factory limo-tint sweetens it up, the 10% stiffer suspension keeps the higher CoG in check and gives you a more stable feeling, and curb side the ground effects and special Nismo only wheels give it a BA look. It is clear that there are after market parts out there and now with the release of this latest version There Will Be More... Interior: Total Alcantara... Nissan's psuedo-suede in a smokey charcoal color - with NISMO badging everywhere. I give it a thumbs up - so much so - I picked up a Sapphire Black model myself... Its plants a grin every time I push start.. http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...pscb852285.jpg |

I had a loaded Juke SL 4wd loaner for a week and really liked it. It got almost as good gas mileage in the city (28mpg) as it did on the highway (30mpg) and was fun to drive.

Yeah. And the Juke Nismo accelerates 0-60 in 6.9seconds. With a foot of roll out 6.6... It gets .85g on the skidpad, which is incredible for its high roofline and short wheelbase. The quality of this vehicle is more akin to the focus ST rather than the fiesta. No comparison when it comes to size, comfort and overall purchase appeal, for this type of vehicle.. http://www.edmunds.com/nissan/juke/2013/road-test.html |
I didn't realize you don't get an independent rear suspension on the fwd models. I'm not a huge fan of twist-beam rears. Still, it looks like it does pretty well with what it's got.
