50,000 have sold???
Chevrolet Camaro. There may be no better case for the GM bailout than this overdue muscle car, a hit by almost every standard. The raucous styling enlivens the road, a pair of available engines both pack punch, and the starting price of about $23,000 puts the Camaro within reach of the masses. It's a welcome arrival in a dreary year, and enthusiastic buyers have rewarded Chevy by purchasing nearly 50,000 Camaros since the car debuted over the summer. 15 Cars Fueling the Auto Recovery - Rick Newman (usnews.com)

I see one everyday, sometimes two, and they are never the same ones, different color or model (V6 or V8), etc.

I see a few every day. They are pretty popular, especially the RS models. There is at least one SS that lives in my complex (along with another 370) and there have to be 5-6 others very close nearby given I see them just about every morning.

As many of you know, I deliberated for a while which one of these vehicles to get. Glad I stuck with my choice of the Z. The camaro is a damn fine car for what it is, but just not for me in this stage of life ... a little older and little more mature than only caring about HP and engine size.

I've been seeing a shitload.
Especially on my way to school in the morning I see a bunch infront of the chevy dealerships. Nice cars though.

I have no problem admitting they are very nice cars (exterior-wise). the motors are amazing, i'd love to have one in my 370z
but one thing that I've always done with cars, is chosen the rare ones. I hate being like every other guy out there with the same car. Integra, prelude SH, now 370z. so i'd never end up buying one, as much as i think the car looks good. |

I've seen more Camaros than I've seen 2010 Mustangs around here. It seems like there are about as many of the Challengers rolling around in my area as the Camaros and nobody wants anything to do with the new Mustangs. On a different note, aside from my z and the others in the dealership I've only seen 1 370Z in person and that was in August.

Yep. Crap loads of Camaros around here too.. I see 3 new Camaros to every 1 new Mustang. I see lots of new Challengers as well... I've seen [maybe] 5 370zs here... WTF?

Puerto Rico is Nippon territory, mostly due to reliability issues. Cars are so expensive down here--imports or domestic ones--that we're willing to pay a thou' or two extra to get a reliable car. Camaros already had a recall on some electrical part (alternator?). I can't deny it's one cutie muscle car, but, until GM proves itself worthy of getting my $$ I'll stick with Japs.
