came in above mitsu, fiat, and scion...

Haha, this is totally all brand image.

I mean, how else is Toyota so high when Scion is so low? They are literally the same cars, just re-skinned. The FRS isn't THAT much of a problem child.

Same can be said for Nissan/Infiniti.

In what world is the Toyota FJ Cruiser a "compact" Crossover SUV?

I think because it's 2-ish doors

there's a ton of difference in the models between the brands, but more importantly the mix.

I would rather have a Nissan besides most of those brands however you guys know you would trust a Honda accord more than anything Nissan has and you know Nissan cheaps out on interior and paint. People don't want that cheap image so they will most likely get a Honda or Toyota instead. Even these days Im seeking way more new hyundais and kias than Nissan.

I trust every nissan i own . starting with the 99 maxima i used to beat the hell out of . i dont give a rats a** what jd powers or consumer reports say i know from my own experience . and thats not based on blue tooth or some other bs

No one is arguing a higher build quality in Honda. (which you're obsessed with repeatedly pointing that out) But Nissan build quality is still above average and I personally have not had paint issues. (though i witnessed a few red and black Z's with paint problems)

The paint on all my Nissan's have held up well.

Nissan/Infiniti is still the best bang for your buck. Even though not as top notch build as others its still good looking cars wiith solid engines is what mostly matters for me. Thats why i bought the 2005 Frontier with the 4.0VQ. I knew the engine was solid and the truck would last forever.

I will say this - since 2009, I have been to points of sale (for new cars) with three Nissans (two Altimas and a Z) and one Mazda (speed3). The follow up material as far as surveys for customer satisfaction is worlds apart. I have never gotten one thing from JD Power for a Nissan product - ever. Mazda has sent me four followup surveys with JDPower logos at the top - one for the sales transaction and initial impressions of the car, one at 3 months of ownership, one for 6 months, and one for the first year.

Pretty sure it is a "get what you give" as far as JDPower goes.
