The New Mazda 6 just dethroned the Accord in a C&D comparo, the same mag that's been sucking Honda balls since the early 90's. Even the CX-9 is considered a damn good buy with it's old Ford V6. I'm fairly certain the Miata won't be going anywhere either.

Now... If Mazda does not succeed with it's model redesigns, they will fold. But they do have a decent lineup.
They're not terrible at the moment, and the MX-5 ain't going nowhere but they still are dying and need to do something to keep it together. I just hope that they don't bring the rotary back for their own sake, that is all

I don't think they can bring back the rotary. Not unless they open something up in performance and bring out a hot new RX7. But I sincerely doubt they could and have it compete.

The Furai concept was gorgeous. I'd love to see them make that for the street, but who would buy it?

My issue is at what cost, and what cost of ownership. The rotary is a SMOOTH engine, high HP, no tq. And I called a dealer for shitz n giggles, he's like we don't even service rotaries... We'll install a new one, that's about it. So having very limited dealers to service the car also hurts that market coming back.

I'd kinda like to see MX-5 2.0 for those of us who think the current one is still a little
