Yes this......I have fun on my drives but part of that is staying in my lane on my canyon runs. I am also older though and probably don't push it as much as others.

At ZdayZ, the OP vid is the kind of thing I remind myself could happen to me, if I make the wrong mistake at the wrong time. I think about this every morning up there, while I'm drinking my mountain dew before the morning run.

I'm actually moderately impressed with the driver in the second vid. (after his obvious screw up) He straightened the wheel for impact and held onto it even after the airbag deployed.

He could have rolled that thing if he had tried to "hold" the turn.

I see people argue with inertia (and lose) a lot. I don't think turning into the direction of inertia was a "trained" response, but rather (some) good instincts. -Too bad he didn't have better instincts on corner entry.:shakes head:

As for holding onto the wheel during an airbag deployment, I thankfully have no experience with such things, but I saw a firefighter's knees buckle when he was hit in the head with a late deployment while trying to clear a wrecked car.

...And the first vid has a turn sign clearly depicting a 90 degree turn just before the off. I think that driver either got into the "red mist" or is just generally oblivious.
