OK - this is turning into a min-saga.

Eventually my wife changed her mind (funny, that. She's never done THAT before). We got into my wife's Hyundai and hit the motorway to drive the 30 miles to buy the van and guess what - there it was - on the motorway - a brand new black GTR - just pootling along at 70. I came, twice.

Wow - I just could not stop myself from driving alongside it ALL THE WAY :cool: That car is SEX. Wife said it looked like a Fiat (hoho)

We got off the motorway and arrived at the seller's house. I took my laptop in, so I could do an electronic money transfer, but the laptop battery is fckued, so that didn't work. I phoned my bank to transfer the money, but couldn't remember the 3rd number of my passcode thingie, so that didn't work. We used his laptop and my bank's online service was 'under maintenance' for 2 hours, so any transfers would take 3 working days!!!

So I came home without the van!

I will try again later - he will be home this evening and I will have to decide whether to go and pick up the van or watch Top Gear. I think I will record Top Gear and watch it later.

Watch this space....
