First Q50 roles off the production line.
This car isn't popular on this forum, but it's growing on me, in terms of sports sedan styling. I don't know if it will be considered overpriced or not? But I do know I can't wait to get the first official performance reviews and get a test drive. This refined VQ37 is the pre-cursor to the Z35, so it sparks my interest greatly as well.:tiphat: http://stblogs.automotive.com/files/...r-1024x640.jpg |
I kinda like it from the back and the side but I'm not sure about the front yet.
I also kind of like the styling of the car now. :| |
Looks good
I'd definitely consider one if it had come out earlier and I didn't already buy a sedan. |
Looks like a richman's sonata...
I hate the wavy lines. |

I like it as a refined G37 but I hope the Z35 has nothing to do with this. Ditch the shared sedan platform and move past the VQ37, still at 328 HP. |

By then i will be too old to be chasing sports cars. I'll be driving a muscle car on the slow lane by then. lol |

Not really digging the stock look of the sides and rear but I think it has huge mod potential. I am in total agreement with Kenchan, rich mans Sonata. Not enough hp for me...dang Infiniti, really? I am going to have to get a V8 for a DD now...this will just not do.

I don't dislike the looks of it but I'm not floored by it either. I guess it all depends on what the buyer is looking for in a car. I like cars that produce some type of emotion when you look at it for the first time. I'm sure its going to be a very nice car for those who own it. Too bad the clean diesel will only be available in Europe.

So I never really thought much of this car until I saw this picture:
https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...72945374_n.jpg Far more compelling than half of Infiniti's marketing shots. Still, I'm skeptical about the overall direction of this platform. It's still a very incremental move when Infiniti's largest competitors are changing things up drastically, such as BMW with their entire lineup getting revamped. |

BMW is revamping their cars but the less for more $$$$ factor is even more drastic than ever. The 180hp, 320i is a horrible value and incredibly slow. Cost $3,000 less than the Q50 with 328hp motor. No value in the 320. Then comes the 328. Which is about the same price. The upside is turbo 4. The downside that turbo 4 still produces 240hp. The 335i is the only car in the line-up worth buying. But it's very unreliable and it's pushing $62k fully loaded? Value issue their. Especially when factoring BMW turbo reliability. The BMW is the Better performance vehicle (BASED on the inexpensive DINAN TUNE). But when you factor in cost of ownership to the MSRP. These two cars really cater to two different income brackets. In spite of similar MSRP's. BMW's cost of ownership is outrageous. |

I like the M56 a lot more, or whatever Qxx they will be calling it. I wouldn't want a heavier sedan with the same crappy motor we already have.

A M56 is over 2 tons... |
..and i happen to like the VQ engine.
