Alot of the stuff I got a really good deal on so it has really been a #budgetballer build The Mugen grille was something I have been looking at since I got the car back in May and I was like "Why the F not?" I have decided not to do any big aero mods with this car like I did with my Z so it should cut down on any big purchases. Quote:
Fixed I went so overboard on my Z there is no way I could ever top what I did with that car. That is why I just buy a few things here and not go too crazy |

sounds good, waizzz.
im done spending on my fit's for now. im just going to maintain them for the rest of ownership. it's good to know maintenance cost is really low on these cars. |

You and I both have been anti-plastidip but I think for that small part below the bumper it's fine. That's all I plan to use it for, nothing else Future plans are the following: -Upgrade to 205 size tires -Cusco front strut bar -K&N typhoon intake -Upgraded shocks (after awhile) Last edited by Waiz; 02-14-2014 at 06:51 PM. |

that front swaybar appears to be a pita to install. are you going to do it yourself? i was thinking about doing it, but then decided my swifts's sway isn't too bad afterall, so going to leave it for now. i just had to get use to that amount of sway on this narrow car. as far as intake, i dont mind the stocker, and shocks... not sure when those are going to be available... |

Elite Auto Performance in Lawndale, they did a good job. Elite Auto Performance - Lawndale, CA | Yelp Quote:
I honestly agree with you regarding the sways, not really necessary. I don't even think that the strut bar will make a noticeable difference in anything but after talking to one of my friends he did say it was noticeable in helping to mitigate the chassis flex. If my shop can get me a decent price I will pull the trigger later in the year. |

yah, the car doesnt really need a strut bar either, i dont think. i just got use to the car's dynamics and caliberated the offset in my head to compensate. hahaha.
these Fit sports are decent fun cars, but honestly.. dont waste too much money on them. at the end of the day, the reason why they're great is because they're cheap. |

I won't go too crazy with this car since it's my daily but I will always be tinkering with it, that's just how I am (and I know you are too ). |

Complete with all of my new additions, my Mugen grille, Mugen mirror cover, EZ-Lip, and gloss black vinyl roof Closeup of the Mugen grille Rear shot with my LED rear taillights and also another view of my gloss black roof from the rear Last but not least, after almost a year my SSR Type-F's are still looking nearly brand new! |
