Great (rumoured) news for Mustang Fanboys

Ford Insider: 2015 Mustang EcoBoost to pack 300hp, GT gets 475hp

It seems the next gen v6 mustang will get replaced with a 300hp ecoboost engine. So even if it lost 5 hp? I'm sure torque and responsiveness from the turbo 4 should eclipse the current V6. Hope they add a worthy driveshaft this time?

The 5.0 is being rumoured to punch out 475hp... That's a lot of stock boom if prices stay similar? Also, if they get a weight reduction to about 3300-3400? Whew??? Awesome. IRS, should sweeten the deal and make the next gen mustang the biggest muscle car to fear.

The camaro stands at 426 now. The C7 vette is at 450hp est. I expect either Chevy will further bump that power or get even more aggressive on weight reduction. Can't wait for the next gen Muscle Car Wars.
