Audi wants to change US headlight law.

Here's the story:

Audi wants to change US headlight law.

Their new headlight design seems pretty slick. And they're right, we all like sweet looking headlights and such.

"Ohhh, shiny!" :icon17:

Fine with me, if the law is correct that cars can only have 2 settings (high & low), then it is time for a change.

:iagree:

I think it's stupid that the car companies will likely have to do studies that prove the headlights provide better safety. Guilty until proven innocent? :ugh2:

Wow, this is awesome! I'm sure the NTSB will approve these in a few decades when the rest of the world is flying around with anti-gravity propulsion vehicles. The last I checked, they were still testing safer horse saddles.

BTW, Audi has been working on some pretty cool "live" brake lights as well:

I agree with Audi, this law is outdated and needs to be updated!

Really! Common now 1968! Wow, That’s going to set us back compared with the rest of the world if they can’t see the big picture. Time has changed. Things have changed. Technology is only going to get more advanced throughout the years. I mean our cars are already watered down compared to Japan and Europe.

Yep, we will be stuck 20 Years behind everyone else, just look at the technology used in Ford and GM. I swear, we are even behind most of the South American, so called 3rd world countries in many ways.
