By the time I'll be ready to buy a GTR, the next gen one will probably be released and I will be able to
A. Buy R36 GTR
B. Buy outgoing R35 (for cheaper)
C. Buy something else

I love the GTR and it's definitely one of the best cars out right NOW, but in 5 years... who knows what the auto enthusiast market will look like.

I'm not sure I'd call the GTR exotic.

I had a 2002 Mach1 cam, bolt ons, forged pistons, and a 125 shot of nitrous. I loved that car but I blew the heads off due to over spray. I fixed the damage and sold it. One of my largest regrets.

What would classify something exotic. I thought 100k was the bracket.

price and/or supercar =/ exotic. exotic has nothing to do with prices. It's more about the over aggressive styling, super luxury, super rare, mostly Italian, usually a bright neon color,and has ridiculous performance. Really Lamborghini created the "exotic". Pagani is the the pure form of it.

lol Man Some of you guys are such drama queens. The car weight's to much. OMG it's AWD, OMG it's not a 6 speed it wont be fun... seriously? Yea we all have opinion's and this is a forum but damn. OP ask For how many of us ar planning to move to a gtr not how many dont plan on getting one. OP I will be one of those ppl. A used 2010 GTR. When ever i can find one for 50k with 20 to 30,000 miles. Already have money saved for GTR SBD700 kit 3,999! Ill trade in the Z as it will be paid off and ill have a reasonable car payment just like now and can still save for a house and stuff. No kids and im only 24 so. GTR see you soon. And im pretty sure in one or two years a 600 AWHP GTR will still be a top dog car in the streets. Cheers!

If not, the attention to detail and pure sexiness isn't found many other places, certainly not the GTR.

Negative for me is in between a GTR or a ZR1!

Out of my price range.

Next car will in all probability (and in order of highest to lowest) be one of the following:

(1) Z35

(2) Next gen WRX (if 2-door)

(3) FR-S (if they offer a "supra" version with FI, much more power, etc)

(4) Z4 (the one I want is probably a bit out of my price range tho'...)

These are my options but you can add new mustang or used z06
