Don't tempt me Henry!!!!!

Okay guys, I love my Z but have to admit that there is something about a Mustang that really appeals to me. I love the looks as well as the exhaust note that a Z can't produce. I've never owned a Mustang and for that matter it's been many years since I even owned an American car let alone one built from the legacy of Mr. Ford. Why is this tempting me? Remind me again of how great our Zs are so I can get this silly idea out of my head.

Mitco39 04-10-2013 02:00 PM

Not another one... fack. If you decide you want a new car, get a new car. Dont come looking to forums to try and change your already made up mind.

Its like people want other people to fight for their brand loyalty. I dont know about the other members on this forum, but I got better things to do.

MadMan 04-10-2013 02:09 PM

Can't speak for Conn., but down here in Ala. everybody & their Grandmother drives a Mustang.
And I've owned one. Imagine they're better now, but the one I had, the backend would break loose at the mere thought of some twisty bits.

nmjaxx9 04-10-2013 02:12 PM

Go drive your Z, that'll get any weird ideas you may have out :rofl2:

not another regret thread :(

Vaughanabe13 04-10-2013 02:23 PM

I don't understand the love for the mustang. I think that car looks clunky and ugly compared to the sexy-curves-and-yet-rad-aggressive-lines of the Z34. Maybe you can go a little faster in it, and you can definitely fit a couple more people in it, but I would take my Z ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Old grandmas drive mustangs, for crying out loud. My 55 year old mom wants to get a mustang convertible.

An idiot 50's aged guy in a mustang (and it was clean too) took off from the right turn lane the other day because I was behind him and he wanted to show off. The back end kicked out and he went over the median busting the **** out of his rims and body. I cruised by slowly clapping. Truck rear ends belong on trucks.

everyone gets the new car itch once in a while....
test drive the mustang gt, and then come back and drive the Z
I think that will answer the question

speedfreek 04-10-2013 02:51 PM

Need more power? Boosted Performance has a great deal going on for their Turbo kits. Much cheaper than a new car note. If mine was paid off that is what I would be doing. But as another fellow pointed out down here in Alabama Mustangs and Camaros are a dime a dozen on every corner. Only the GT500 and ZL1 get a look...but to non car enthusiasts they just see another mustang/camaro.

No! I must hold it in until someone else tells me that I should go.

Oh, also let me know if which stall I should use, if I should pull my pants all the way down or not and if I should wash my hands or not

:tiphat:

edit - I would totally drive a Mustang, if the interior wasn't so retro and ugly looking.

Haahaha :roflpuke2::bowrofl:....I get that kinda of crap all the time, well minus the curb hop part. When the twin are installed I'll play a little bit more.

ElVee 04-10-2013 04:06 PM

One of the biggest things for me is I see at least 4 Mustangs daily. I can't say I see a Z on the streets but once a month.

tower74 04-10-2013 04:22 PM

Cumstangs and Gaymaros are like unicorns. You NEVER see them on the highways.

OldGuy 04-10-2013 09:41 PM

Trade with Pitch, who just bought a Mustang and really wants a Z.
Some guys....woosh...

asdfsammich 04-10-2013 10:36 PM

When I read the thread title I was like, why's someone coming out on a car forum?

Then I read the actual topic and it's a lot gayer than I initially thought :inoutroflpuke:

/hope I don't offend cuz I'm just talking nonsense all peeps are cool gay or not

I'm a part-time counselor/psychotherapist. "Are you having strange thoughts and feelings? Are there times when you question your being....asking yourself, am I the real me? Ok that'll be $300.

Cuban Z 04-10-2013 11:33 PM

Its ok to want the stang if you don't like the Z. Trade with this guy...http://www.the370z.com/lounge-off-topic/69639-huge-mistake-need-advice-post2261335.html...at least dude wants the Z. You both win.

asdfsammich 04-10-2013 11:50 PM

Haha, nice find. It would actually makes a lot of sense.

Be cool if they could actually pull it off.

Old Guy suggested it here first and Axmea? suggested it on the other guys post about this one so I can't take the credit, but I agree, would make for a pretty cool story!

Why would you trade with a forum troll that doesn't own a car?

red6spd 04-11-2013 09:36 AM

If you need to be reminded just get the Stang.

Pitch 04-11-2013 08:26 PM

lol. complete opposite here! Bought a brand new 5.0 stang and want nothing to do with it. :(((
