2014 camaro Z/28
|
Yet still ugly.
Interior and exterior. I guess it's not always what's on the inside (engine) that counts. They should spend some money on the design aspect and come up with something sexy, because the Corvette is losing its sexiness and the Camaro hasn't had it for a looooong time. All my opinion of course, as some may actually like this. |
Holding out to see what they do with the ATS chassis. Although I like the new taillights better than the previous model. Going to be a tough decision come 2016 timeframe when I will be looking. New Z or something else....

Steps in the right direction. Did they seriously put carbon ceramic brakes on this car? Talk about losing weight the most expensive way possible. I would have looked at making the suspension and body all aluminum too. 305 19's all around is pretty sweet. I think most will remove the rear seat anyways, maybe implement a quick release like a minivan. ZL1 gearing with 3.91 is pretty awesome too. I wonder if they are using the mag suspension for this too.

Agree on the ATS chassis. The This thread is basically a rehash of my ongoing thread, but With the improvements in suspension in this chassis. The upcoming weight reduction in the other chassis. And the LS7 is now part of the camaro lineup... Wow, from a consumer based perspective, guys can go on ugly looks all day and other negative tangents... Opinions are like azzholes... But from the performance enthusiast perspective. As this car gets older. It's dropping it hard on the competition when it comes to power and suspension. The new chassis will only take it to new heights... On this current chassis,The Z/28 is 500hp and around 3800lbs or less. So this thing has a similar power to weight ratio as a GT-R without the use of turbos. Imagine going FI on this bytch.:excited: |
Mustang/Camaro they just have to many options i would be so overwhelmed! But this thing seems like it will put the 302 boss to shame. This is a nice car. tire/brakes are amazing. But still the interior i so, so ugly. I wish the 370z had a rival to push more updates like the mustang and camaro do.

I like it.

this one is streetable, but its designed as a track toy. Hell, the radio only has one speaker. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I like it

like the front...not the rear...rear somehow reminds me of an ugly version of the Honda Prelude
|
At first glance I love it. I thought "looks sick." But, then I instantly thought "every damn kid with a mustang or camaro make this less awesome."
Even with a suped up version it still is a Camaro that most kids have and seems just like that, a kids car. I'm sure a lot of "kids" have Z's too, heck im probably a kid by most standards but the Z looks like more of a classy garage car while the maro and stang are street beaters. It's just not exclusive, every chick will be like cool camaro but few comprehend the exclusivity of the Z28 whereas a Z is basically a small club of select few. End of day car is a monster that will dominate the road but to me I'd rather have a very good engine and a very great exterior/interior combo. |
Sorry, but the Z is not exclusive. Exclusive implies that there are some sort of barriers to entry. The Z is no more or less expensive than a similarly optioned Mustang or Camaro.
