The New 911 (991) GT3
Porsche 991 GT3 inside look - interview with Andreas Preuninger - YouTube
Interactive micro site: http://www.porsche.com/microsite/911...81X_OWN_USA-HP "Conservative" figures are as follows: "Well under" 7:30 lap time for the 'ring 0-60 in 3.3s (I believe it will be closer to 3.1s) 0-200kmh in 11 seconds 475hp, redline at 9,000 4 wheel steering (back wheels turn max 1.5 degrees, low speeds will have rear wheels turning opposite direction to the front wheels for maneuverability, high speeds will turn same direction for high speed stability) 7 gears with no over drive gears (very short gears, taking full advantage of the PDK)

Holy Fvckin' Shyt!!!
PDK FTW. DCT baby!!!!! Can you believe the double PADDLE pull? Wow!!!! EDIT: Now that i watched it again and beat off a second time. Damn. Porsche really came with it on this one. It's definitely revolutionary and it's amazing what they've done with their DCT. Can't wait to see what the GT-R comes up with to compete. But for sure. The GT-R needs to come down in weight and the new feature in the PDK should be copied. I'm officially in love with this gen line up of 911. They had fallen off for a few years but they are back with a vengence!!! Last edited by UNKNOWN_370; 03-04-2013 at 07:25 PM. |

Have they come up how much it will cost in the US?
Porsche has really step up there game again. I wouldn't be surprised if this win another car of the year award. Oops missed that post from MC, only 130K for a GT3? Thats only a price of a regular carrera S 911? Last edited by Zoren 370; 03-04-2013 at 11:28 PM. |

I can only imagine how fun the new GT3RS will be.. Side note: It has a button on the center console to lift the nose up for steep driveways or whatnot.

no a new 911 S starts at like 98-99K but porsche has an options list like no other car. you can get carbon this and that until youve added 25-30K without even blinking. |
