I like the looks of it, but it still is too much of a big and heavy old skool muscle car. IMHO the Z is much more of a sports car. One thing I don't understand is why I see so many Camaros at Avis, while dealers are saying they are in short supply and charging huge premiums? At each the 4 or 5 five Avis locations I have recently been to, they had at least 6 Camaros.

They may look nice but check out all the problems people are having with them before they even get them off the lot...

I've driven one, I mean it is what it is. It's an American car so given the interior is nothing to write home about. Looks wise it's decent, however I think the whole look factor will decrease when they are a more common occurrence. I only got to drive the V6 as they did not have any SS's and even for the V6 is can get up and go. Again not anything to write home about but it was surprising for the V6 in my opinion.

Reality check: plenty of dealerships tried (and still try) to mark the 370Z up. Its the exact same for the Camaro - look around, and you will find plenty of OTHER dealerships who arent marking up. My dealer called me back in October saying they would be selling them at MSRP no questions asked.

I think there junk basically all gm cars are anymore, them and a lot of fords as well. We had so many problems back in 1996 with all 3 fords that we bought one right after we bought it. We went to the honda dealer bought a brand new civic and that thing ran like you would never believe, never any problems at all. That is why I stick to imports.

New Fords are NICE. They have improved greatly. GM still in the crapper.

Sounds scientific, and you've done all your research.

I'm sold, imports 4 life.

Sounds like GM has stumbled upon a cost effective way of painting Camaro's - paint each exterior body part seperately before assembly using different vats of paint. Am I missing something here?

These are selling like hot cakes? The Chevy dealership near me still has the same two they had when they got a month or so ago.
