06-07 M5's are getting pretty affordable

Seeing tons of them for under 30k and a lot of decent mileage ones for under 35k.

Anyone ever think of getting one? The only thing I'd worry about is repairs if something broke

A friend of mine got one recently and even let me drive it lol. It's an awesome car, but you better be ready to pay big time if something breaks. Out of warranty repairs for a BMW M car are pretty high.

Agreed, if u can't afford it when it's new. I don't see a reason to get it when it's used and out of warranty !

I wouldn't go that far, but just make sure you do your research and be prepared for something. Make sure to get a thorough inspection done before you buy it.
