Any good news for Hyundai Gen fans is good news for us. If they are targeting the G or Q or w/e they call it, it pushes up the competitiveness of the Infiniti to compete. Z shares a lot with the G/Q. It's been an indicator of what we as Z fans should expect. If Hyundai pushes for 400hp, Infiniti won't stand idle. They do have a 400hp 5.0 and a 5.6 sitting in the FX and M models. They can also have the VR38 which I'm sure will somehow find it's way in the IPL line. Seeing that the Nismo is at 350hp with an engine that made it's debut in 2008, chances are good 400+hp is already being worked. Now if Hyundai can fix the aesthetics and drivetrain (suspension included), they may be real contenders next time around.

What i really respect about hyundai is they have the Hyundai think Tank. This is where owners can give a wide array of feedback to Hyundai about future improvements. I never had Nissan ask me about improvements for my Z. Just some third party company asking about what we would like in our altimas. I know it was a sample survey and not the per customer type from hyundai. This is why I follow their growth in spite of... That's as open minded as you can get. |
I got like 5 surveys emailed to me over the course of a year for my Z

you forgot about project 370Z...im sure someone at nissan is taking the time to read over that and im pretty sure the comments that have been left by people on that page have some things to say about whats lacking in the current z or what they would like to see in the next z just like we do here. nissan may not have their own comments section on their website, but they are still involved in social media. Any way im glad that hyundai has been continually improving upon the genesis cause in the end it makes other manufacturers sit up and take notice ie. Nissan |
