it is very sad indeed! but the truth is that it seems nearly iompossible to have that type of damage from a 60mph crash, and about the 120mph because it was a head on crash.. meaning 60mph+60mph = 120mph its not true if both car are doing 60mph and crash head on the impact stays the same 60mph its like hitting a wall or something, this myth was busted in mythbusters

That is no head on crash at 60mph. Not even close. I mean come on how often do a GTR and Murci not only pass each other but hit head on.... Also the windshield on the lambo is blown out, maybe from lack of seatbelts being worn. Did the driver and passenger get ejected?

If you read the article it clearly states that everyone was wearing seatbelts. It is a very weird crash indeed.

The Lambo had the air bags open if you look in the picture. Air bags can only do so much so they must have really been moving. The shell actually looks to be fairly intact, it's not crumpled as the carbon fiber tub seems to have held up. However internal trauma can happen when you stop that hard and that fast that takes you out even if your belted in. May not have any visible external injuries, but bleeds out internally.

This is a story that does not add up but the result is certainly two lost lives. If they knew one another and were in the same club, why would they be going in opposite directions. It does not matter any more.

May peace come to all involved.

Noticed in the article that the lady was driving. Maybe she lost control of it?

If she wasn't an experienced driver of such a powerful car it probably wouldn't take much to loose control...

Here is a quote from the Lamborghini owner's friend:

Nick Nicou
To everyone commenting on this story. I was very good friends with both of the people who were lost in this accident and have been in touch with witness to the accident. All accusations you have made have bee false. Speed was not the issue, racing was not the issues. The car lost control around a corner due to bad judgement and spun out. It is common thing. It was a supercar caravan. Please think before you speak. The passenger was actually the owner of the car. He was a good person and will be missed. The driver has completed numerous driving and competitive racing courses and was more than capeable of handling the vehicle. Bad timing. That's all it was. Hope this helps anyone concerned.

I would also like to add that the owner and driver of the Nissan GTR was also a friend of the victims. Please pray for him.

Bottom line people lost lives over here, no point in fault finding. My sympathy goes to the family and friends of the dearly departed. My prayers for the injured for their speedy recovery. Only God knows what happened over here. Drive Safely everyone.

Sorry, but at normal highway speeds the Lambo is not going to suddenly go out of control on perfectly flat and straight pavement..... Unless the driver does something stupid.

I have to agree. If a Honda civic can drive down the same road, a Lamborghini should be able to. Unless they were testing the car.

Not saying anything is wrong with that. Hell if I owned that car is probably gun it a lot however you'd need to get used to the power!

Read above, he says lost control around a corner.
