Saw a 370 going into the paint booth, wonder if they screwed that one up too.

You guys should be able to find it online, I know I watched it online awhile back.

It appears you can watch it here if you create a free account.

The 370Z is built on a separate line. The G37 is built on the same line as the GT-R though.

NissanGuy23 12-14-2012 11:11 PM

I swear i hear them putting in LFA exhaust in some shots....

Also im liking the red interior on the Japanese GTR...mmmmm

also i like how they said the design is not something thats popular to western culture..but it is for Japanese culture. They like 'strong solid designs'. Interesting.

LakeShow 12-15-2012 02:07 AM

^^Yes I did actually hear those LFA sound clips, not sure why they put them. But it would've been epic if the GTR sounded like an LFA.

nmjaxx9 12-16-2012 06:16 PM

recorded this on dvr gonna watch later.

yeah it was great despite the dubbed in LFA sounds( guess nat geo doesnt think a muted vaccum cleaner will get ratings) and some inaccurate facts here and there. Ive watched it several times now... having been a GTR owner now twice over( and next year for a 3rd time) since mid 2008 i guess i can at times take for granted how awesome of a car it is when im getting groceries in it or just having it sit in the garage...but watching this made me really appreciate the care and precision that goes into building the car and I feel really proud to own the first black edition GTR built for the US signed by Mr Mizuno

niceee

Yea it was a 370 for sure.

MC 12-17-2012 04:45 PM

yeah im pretty sure its all the same line at tochigi as it appears they have one chassis line then one engine line that meets up and the GTR is about every 7th car like they said.. so my like moms FX and your Z's are sprinkled in there. thats how they keep the GTR costs down

if you notice in the show when they are talking about the paint booth its also showing a Z there in addition to a few shots of a Z and a G on the line
