Keep Z or get ISF?

So lately i have been toying the idea of trading my 2010 Sport with 11K on it for a 2008 ISF with 20k miles...whats your thoughts,i dont necessarily need 2 extra seats as I already have another car..what do you guys thinks...I would have to add about 7K to the deal...really love the V8 power, the looks of the ISF and obviously the reliability.

the Z isn't even in the same league as the ISF, but the ISF is 2 years older.

Frankly i don't miss my Z at all after I upgraded.

Man the ISF is so nice..keep your z and trade your other car in for that :)

Not a fan of the ISF

Keep the Z

If I wanted a fast Luxo-barge it would not be an ISF those are so poser wanna be cars. The Mercs now have presence.

I love the is-f and I'm asking myself the same question...

Sometimes I just want a reliable luxurious v8 without a big maintenance bill...

Cmike2780 12-05-2012 06:45 PM

Skip the IS-F. It's a cool car, I like it, but it's nothing special.

I hated the isf at skip barber where I really stretched its legs.... It's nothing like a small 2 seater

red6spd 12-05-2012 07:06 PM

Keep the Z, ISF is not stupid faster anyway plus it has fake exhaust tips LOL

Japanjay 12-05-2012 07:17 PM

Yeah I would pass on a IS-F. CTS-V FTW like the one the other guy just picked up.

ISF is a very nice car, I was toying with the idea of getting one as well but decided to save my money instead

Here's the pros and cons for me.
Pros:
-Good performance
-Comfy ride
-4 doors
-Good reliability
-Low maintainance
-Looks good (note this is subjective)

Cons:
-Overkill for my current life situation. I don't go out much and I'm single and don't have kids... don't need a 4 door sedan or luxury features... I don't need this car
-Insurance will go up
-Most people can't tell the difference between an IS250/350 and the ISF

The 3rd gen IS series is just around the corner so take that into consideration before you make any purchase decisions.

My Luxo-barge would be the new Jeep SRT-8 Alpine.

Exactly! Probably my single biggest problem with the ISF :icon17:
