Default American cars: Viper

I've been reading about the new Viper in Motor Trend's December magazine. They are offering very high quality interiors with the new model. As well, looking at the design reminds me of AMG's SLS front/mid-engined supercar in many ways.
Anyway, I like how American cars are moving "upmarket" and becoming both higher quality items and also better to drive-more dynamic driving cars. This new Viper is yet another example.

I'm reading about it in the magazine, but here's a youtube video:

I saw several at SEMA this year... I would buy this car in a heart beat!!! The new Viper is Freaking AMAZING! The quality of the build and the overall design is leaps and bounds better than the out going models.

Yeah! I think it's cool how Dodge is making the Viper into something really nice, as well as the insane performance car it was before.

That is why it holds the 4th and 9th fastest production car times on the ring right?

What? You are sadly mistaken. The Viper has always been a great handling car. And horrible transmission? The T56/Tremec tranys are some of the most reliable, bulletproof gear boxes out there. I'll agree with you on the average brakes. Prior to 2001, the Vipers didn't have ABS and braking was definitely their shortcoming.
