October JNC Meet Photos - Classic Skyline Edition
I was able to attend the October Japanese Nostalgic Car meet at the Torrance Crossroads but neglected to post my photos until today. There was probably the best selection of cars that I have ever seen at this meet and thankfully I had my camera to capture all the awesomeness.
Starting it off with my friend Brent's badass M3 on BBS's. It was his first time attending this meet and he had a good time http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-q9yDOf1paq...0/IMG_1620.JPG This is a cool old Honda, checkout the small but aggressive wheels! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3ScF5DC1h4...0/IMG_1624.JPG Then this beast arrives, and caused quite the crowd http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8AI5CqQxnM...0/IMG_1626.JPG I just love the boxy shape of these cars, very timeless http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_3Eg8fIfCy...0/IMG_1631.JPG This Z was featured on my blog earlier, you will recall it's RB-powered http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y9-z0rFHF4...0/IMG_1633.JPG Normally I'm not a fan of some of the mods that Scion guys like to use but this was one I could imagine myself driving http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QbYOFpqraf...0/IMG_1636.JPG It has been nearly two years since I last saw this Celica but it looked just as good as the last time I saw it, love the color of this thing! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9x97O0Il_A...0/IMG_1639.JPG Probably the best angle of these cars, you will not the Mustang design cues that were most likely copied by the Toyota designers http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kbm2dZznrN...0/IMG_1642.JPG Classic 70's-era Toyota interior http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-03KZB3uoj8...0/IMG_1716.jpg A little later in the evening this beautiful Hakosuka coupe showed up and caused even more of a crowd than the sedan http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5DCDUn_2p5...0/IMG_1662.JPG How cool is this rear wing? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PUHrofNkYF...0/IMG_1663.JPG Coupe vs. Sedan wings http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IZsaHHIfoz...0/IMG_1672.JPG http://2.bp.blogspot.com/---_fTPqU9B...0/IMG_1680.JPG This shot really shows the flare on the rear wheel fenders, you have to love it! http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a7djqxoLfZ...0/IMG_1630.jpg 70's interior, look at that classic wood trim! http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wVvZ7UxJso...0/IMG_1682.jpg This Evo X was tucked away from the other cars but had some really legit parts http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EoHAAJ_qjY...0/IMG_1683.JPG Alcon brakes + TE-37 SL's = #winning http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VeVRGeEC_G...0/IMG_1687.JPG My buddy Shawn's car looking clean as always on SSR SP1's http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LfeD_r8y-W...0/IMG_1699.JPG One more of this cool Hakosuka http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KXLFoO5Oq6...0/IMG_1666.JPG The rest of the photos can be found on my blog: The Auto Fanatic - JNC Classic Skyline Themed Meet |
