truly wish CRP had run one of these in SCCA World Challenge instead of modding street cars...

no ****

HKYStormFront 03-14-2013 06:40 PM

probably would have been a much better rival for the CTS-V and S60 race cars that dominated GT class.

What the eff did they do to the fender and hood vents, no doubr that they are finctional but they made the GTR looks ricey as hell

SS_Firehawk 03-22-2013 06:26 PM

Reliefs pressure from the wheel well and hood vents reduce under hood temps as well as reduce lift. Form was the result of function, which you do seem to understand. I don't think it can be categorized as rice. Spoilers of that magnitude on a Civic, yes, GTR, no. We don't call Honda powered F1 cars ricers, and they got more vents, winglets, spoilers, and stickers than an Import Tuner magazine...

I do understand that they are functional, maybe i am wrong but from my understanding, this will be a production car. The design is still a little to much for me when it comes to street use.

And i have no problem with the spoiler, it serves its function, still think they can do better with the fenders and hood
