They ruled out the fusion because of its price, but its half the cost of the bare bones tesla. These car of the year things always make me wonder where the judges are getting their drugs.

Motor trend's 2011 car of the year was the Chevy VOLT.

If that Tesla delivers as claimed, it's a huge step in the right direction for the future of cars.
Very cool. And, I agree, screw the FR-S/BRZ -- now that's a car that received more than its fair share of undeserved kudos. 1980's technology and innovation in the twins vs 2025 technology and innovation in the Tesla. For once, MT has it right.

I'm just happy to see some decent electric cars coming out. If they get the battery issues sorted, they will be amazing. Of course, the limits of batteries are a persistent and tough problem to work around...
