why would your friend say that its fake?

don't know about fake, but you have them on the wrong side of the car. You will never be able to bleed them with the bleed screws facing down.

I know the shop that did the installation did a horrible one. The aftermath

Check the area around "AP Racing" on the calipers. They are supposed to be embossed. If it feels like a form of sticker (or bumped/metal sticker plate), then it is fake. From looks along, I cannot tell.

Found this, take a look if your serial is stamped on the bottom

If not, it's a fake..

i know you mentioned the rotors but holy crap they redrilled the 5 lug holes to fit it on your hub..... not good!!!

ChrisSlicks 11-05-2012 04:41 PM

From the pictures the calipers look legit, but like mentioned you should check the serial numbers to be certain. They come in either grey or red, with grey being the default. You add R2 to the part # if you want red. Your part # is CP7600-S20, red would be CP7600-S20R2.

The install and rotors on the other hand are a f**king joke. It looks like it was installed by an 8-year old, or someone with the brains and automotive experience of an 8-year old.

Jose Aliling 11-05-2012 08:33 PM

yeah the installation was f****d up!They are going to replace the calipers but the will only re face the rotors since it cannot be returned.I was dooped! The rotors was brand new and has 4/5 hole pattern I just didn't realize earlier it was fake :shakes head:
