Anyone have an FRS/86/BRZ
Hi everyone. I am thinking of getting an FRS in AT(yes I would like to get the MT but this is for the wife). I read that the AT is supposedly very good.

From the description in your link, it sounds like the "hidden" mode after holding in that button for 3 seconds would be equivalent to the Z's 7AT M-mode + VDC OFF like you'd use on a track, whereas "Sport" mode would just raise the shift points a bit but still be "automatic". It's probably comparable, but can't be sure without confirmation of technical details (like whether it does full lockup in the torque converter, and whether the shift times are comparable).

I love my frs. It's not as claustrophobic inside as the z with those tiny windows and i love the balanced handling that is very predictable. I need a backseat for my daughter that rides with me once and awhile so that's nice. It lacks power though in stock form of course but its not that bad. I plan to boost it shorty as I did with my z to solve that. I would probably pick a boosted frs over my boosted z just cause of the way the car feels and needing a back seat.
