It was clear by the video that at the half-way point the only reason that Vette made any ground up was because the driver of the GT-R was easing off until the Vette made up his lost ground. That GT-R driver was just pouring some salt in the Vette driver's wound. I use to do it all the time when I raced Vettes in my Mustang Cobra Terminator.

Actually he was not letting up. The Vette on the top end wil catch the GTR all day long. The GTR is only going ot pull strong off the line with all wheel drive. At some point weight and hp are going to take over and thats exactly what happend. There are numerous videos of Vettes and Vipers whipping up on the GTR... why should this one be any different???

I can get the jump on Vettes all day long with my modded Jeep SRT-8 because of the all wheel drive but it wont be long until they are catching me.
