You are going to take a hit selling it so if you don't care about the money then buy a new car. I would not take it back to the same person should he resurface, take your losses and move on ( I learned this the hard way). Take it to a respectable shop for a bid then compare the cost to fix vs the cost to sell and buy new.
I had a mediocre job done on my clear bra by a very high end and reputable shop, probably the same guy did my car lol. Eventually I just didn't care about the little crap that was still flawed after they 'fixed' their mistakes.

Well I can't lose a lot seeing what's possible.
I'm going to my Subaru body shop to see about fixing. Then off too a clear bra and window tint. ThePhotographer

Don't sell the car. You'll get bent over on the depreciation, even though the car has next to no miles. Cut your losses. Don't talk to the guy again. Get the car repaired on your own dime. Small claims court is an option, but it takes a lot of time and may not be worth the effort. Chalk it up as a lesson learned, and move on. It's just a car. I'd be absolutely livid if someone pulled that on my car, but that's the crappy part about cars. Sometimes we get boned.
