IIRC the BRZ's 2.0 does not have unequal length headers. This design takes away from the characteristic subaru boxer sound that you hear on WRX and STI's from the past decade. It will still be a balanced, smooth powerplant but the burble (if you are used to it) will be missed

It's definitely there. Perhaps it is more subdued than in the WRX. It's not loud and perhaps its is enhanced by the resonator that pipes some exhaust sound into the interior.
