He said he'll do all the basic stuff himself, but i'm sure it's on par with the GT-R work at the sealership.

every 3000mi as you extend past the required service mileage you have those huge alerts on the dashboard for service being late so everyone gets in the car and goes like..."Look at this guy in a fancy car and he won't even do his oil changes "

Oh boy the price you pay for wanting a super car. You mean to say the GTR maintenance cost is almost as expensive as the 911?
Im glad Nissan made the Z made me drive a sports car that is within my budget. Yup with the money I will save I can transform my Z to a super car with FI and all what have you. If this is a defense mechanism because I can't afford a Porsche or a GTR then so be it...Haha |

Yup! There are a lot of good DIYs for working on these cars spread across different Porsche forums and the car actually doesn't look too hard to work on for most things. The one scary thing is that a car that is so overengineered for everything, they GLUED the coolant fittings into the engine. They can literally become unglued and you lose all your coolant. That makes no sense why they did that.

Engineer 2..It works on paper. Engineer 1..Good enough for me. Engineer 2..Yeah it's not like WE have to work on it.
