With stock bald tires (the tread is down the bar indicator) I was pulling the same times or better than the 4 different FRS's. Driver skill does play a big role but considering this is only my 6th auto-x event I wouldn't say I'm experienced by any means.

Speaking to the drivers after the event was over I asked their impressions. They all said the same thing; very toss-able and fun out on the course but needs more power. When I asked more about their power needs they said during the auto-x it was difficult trying to keep the revs up in order to have the power needed to come out of turns and for daily driving it definitely wasn't anything exciting. Two of them said they were happy with their purchase even though they felt it lacking in some areas while the other two were disappointed and either looking to the aftermarket or trading in for something else next year. Of note, the two that were happy with thier purchase had never owned a faster car previously compared to the FRS. The two that were unhappy had each owned faster cars before (370z, STI, WRX, 240sx SR20 swap).
Yep.

Frankly, after seeing that this car can't accelerate, brake, OR handle, I'm officially done even thinking about it until they come out with a "super sport" version.

Performance-wise it is about on par with a 7th gen Celica GT-S... that's a 12-13 year old car now, and also FF. This car is barely a step up from that, and a big step down from a boosted GT-S.

Disappointing. Glad I bought the 370Z instead of waiting for the FR-S/BRZ
