For that price I would rather get a Mazdaspeed 3

I'm annoyed at the torque steer of my non-speed Mazda3, I can't imagine what it would be like in a Mazdaspeed 3. I've heard it is fun to drive but you do have to watch the torque steer.

That's sorta of how I look at it. I want RWD, relatively light, and 2 doors. I'm sick of my nondescript DD, but I don't need another powerful sports car.

So what are the choices

1. MX-5
2. FRS
3. BRZ
4 ??

Is there anything else out there that fits the bill? Shouldn't there be tons of different lightweight fun-to-drive sports coupes? Well if no one buys the FRS and BRZ there won't be. So perhaps they are a bit over-priced for what they deliver, just say I'm taking one for the team to help the car's popularity so other manufacturers take the same sort of risks in the future. You guys should be thanking me.

Your welcome.

Yes. I am willing to put down a few extra bucks to support products I believe are good for the auto enthusiast. If enough people do as I do, and it looks like they are, then other manufacturers will think it might be wise to produce this sort of car. And the auto enthusiast will win if competition emerges for this sort of vehicle.

It's like I'm the freakin' Mother Teresa of consumers, taking a hit on my wallet so that others may profit in the future from my loss.

:roflpuke2: You're just all heart.

"I'm doing this for all of you," he shouted, as he signed on the dotted line and drove the sports car home :roflpuke2:

Picked up my BRZ yesterday. Here's a crappy cell-pic. I'll take some nicer shots today at Austin Cars and Coffee.

Still think the Z looks more like a sports car than that.

The pictures don't do it justice, but no worries for me since my Z isn't going anywhere

Saw one the other day on the streets. Nice looking car but definitely not worth the price tag. Of course this is geared at all the kids that we all used to be, modding civics, etc. And even those goofy dodge neons later on lol. But that's because we can actually afford nice cars now that the whole concept seems a bit silly. :)
