Detailing Pictures

I met up with PJ (370zFORme) last night to get his 2011 STi ready for a Subie show he was attending. He traded in his PG 370Z last year after doing a full Nismo conversion and it looked amazing, but the STi is so much more practical!

We decided to do a tuition detail so I taught him the ins and outs of polishing and let him work on the lower panels with my Porter Cable while I worked the upper panels, trunk, and hood with my rotary. I had detailed another STi with this exact color so I knew what to expect and what pad/polish combination to use so the results were easy and the paint turned out great for a light/medium one step polishing session.

Anyways, just wanted to show some pictures since we were very happy with the outcome. Here are some random 50/50s and finished shots:

Check out the difference in color and clarity:

Sealed his Enkei wheels:

I was very happy with the finished product and just wanted to share some pictures. It's always nice to show people that polishing doesn't have to be intimidating or difficult with the right tools and techniques. Thanks for looking! :tiphat:
