Greener Pastures

I've had my eye on a corvette for a while now, and after renting a Z06 for the day, fell in love with it. The power is intoxicating, and on a different level from the 370Z. The interior could be better, but I'm buying this sucker for raw performance.

After a big raise at work, I decided to reward myself by trading my 370Z in, and landing a Z06. I got a 2008 with 16k miles, with a decent deal on my trade-in.

It was an enjoyable and memorable experience with the 370Z, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll definitively be lurking around the forums here.

Congrats! I've actually been contemplating one myself. Each day I'm checking for a deal that can't be passed up.

I never seen a pic of you next to a Z but that vette really suits you. Its a great ride brother. Enjoy it. I've rented a few grand sports. They aren't as fast but they are lots of fun in the right setting (via track). Congrats.

always have loved Vette's. if gas prices go down like they used to be, id be all over it! lol but seriously........... congrats , just TRY to keep it below 200 mph lol

yes the Vette is on a different level as the Z, Vette's are known for Brute Power and american muscle. and are quite a bit more expensive as compared to the Z ...... the Z is in a completely different class than the Vette.

cant justify a Vette and a Z side by side lol id be torn! WHICH ONE !?! lol but in their own class (Z being the lower more affordable sports car and the Vette being the higher, more expensive Sports car) id fully expect the Z to have a different Driver feel to it, each car has their own style..quality, uniqueness for their price's. if the Z was around the Vette's price range id expect it to be similar . but they are not...so its 2 different cars

32k car Vs 45-50k car....... apples and oranges! lol!!!

Congrats man, adoring Vette fan right here.

Congrats on the Vette, since you based your decision purely on raw performance you can't go wrong with a Z06. I can't lie, after driving one I was so mesmerized by the power I almost overlooked its shortcomings.

It really is a good car, even for the money. I think I'd kill myself on a track in a Z06 though. It takes a lot of skill to control that car at the limit, given how far out its limits are.
