Z Dayz 2012 Video Thread, G's and droptops
 

Had a blast this year. Tons of epic video to go through.

-Did a video capturing Dai's exhaust on thursday, with the shotgun cam rig, and go pro head cam. Had front facing return video of the vert on the return to Fontana.
-Did the drop top cruise Friday AM.
-Drove around near the cherohola skyway, got chase cam of the vert.
-Did a front wheel and rear wheel go pro setup to get gas (not on the dragon though :/)
-Did a Minnesota G crew dragon run on Saturday AM.

MN G roll out to deal's gap.

Is the G's hardtop but could be made a convertible? I think I saw it last Saturday, but that would be a nifty idea for the G, much better than the convertible Z. The body shape of the G would suite convertible a lot better IMO.

Yes the Infiniti does have a hardtop convertible that has been out for quite awhile now.

Both video's are really good. Was the video's shot in GA? The road with all the turns looks really fun to drive & nice scenery.

As Maclean said, yes. Also with the second gen coupe they designed it with a vert in mind. The wnd gen coupe came out in 2008 followed by the vert in 2009. I say hardtop over softtop by there are a lot of comprimises to be made.











Thanks guys. The videos were shot in north carolina near fontana village resort (2nd vid) to deals gap and the first clip is from the tail of the dragon.

Project Z rolling out from the Nissan tent.

Took a cruise from near the start of Cherohola to deals gap on Thursday. Vert chase cam enabled. Watch in HD.




Then from deals gap to the fontana dam bridge. (it gets more fun in this one until we slow down for traffic). Watch in HD.
