2013 Altima
2 Attachment(s)
I just came back from Atlanta, where Nissan had the Sales manager Ride and Drive of the 2013 Altima. The car is awesome. Retuned motors and CVT, plenty of power (182 for the 4 cyl, 270 for the 6), and phenomenal gas mileage- 38MPG HWY for the 2.5
It looks great, inside and out! The new technologies (active understeer control that brakes the inside wheels while turning) Blind Spot Warning and moving abject detection and lane departure warning seem easy to use and unobtrusive. Standard Bluetooth with Streaming audio, optional talk to text, Pandora, and POIs powered by google for the Navigation are definitely ahead of this class. It will be out in June, and I am certainly excited! |
Sorry the pics came out upside down!

I was looking to get one for a dd. it's looks way better. It was either Altima or the 2013 fusion

Man that car has grip! It's gonna SLAY in skidpad numbers!

I guess that's what the Altima looks like in Australia?
|
I am a little mad. LOVE the look of the new one however the coupe is going to be exactly the same.
|
are you in australia or somewhere?
|
smaller Maximas?
|
The new design resembles the Maxima in a lot of ways. I'm curious to see if Nissan will drop the Maxima from their lineup now that this new Altima has all the spotlight on it now.
I think 182 horsepower will be good for a daily commuter car like an Altima. Can't wait to see them in person. My Mom is excited for them to come out. |
Since they unveiled the new Altima I was a big fan of it. They did an awesome job, makes the competition (Accord, Camry) look cheap and ugly. But this does mean they will have to update the Max a little to create some separation between the models.
|
Pricing for the atlima isn't bad. I wanted a better mpg. Main competition to me is the fusion
|
Accord doesn't look cheap. Design wise, I like the accord out of the 3: Altima, Camry, accord

I like how Nissan designs usually incorporate some kind of taut, muscular lines that make it exciting to look at. I think Honda has some nice lines, but not defined in a muscular way like Nissan. Toyota usually comes off as nice, but very bland. These masculine design concepts at Nissan give the car a special feeling when you're behind the wheel. Can kind of put a smile/smirk on your face :happydance: |
