I love it! Hoping Ford has a plan for putting the power down, though. According to one of the rags that got to test one of the mules they think the car will be running mid 11s with the launch control system. And we'll see if they ever release a Nurburgring time.

oh i am curious...i hope they get different people to test it than the mags that did the ZL1 they out down some disappointing #'s

One more thing that is being overlooked here...
2013 GTR MSRP = ~$100,000 2013 GT500 MSRP = ~$55,000 Not bashing or anything but I'd hope a car that costs almost double as much would be quicker |

I don't think it will be in the 130s. I think it will be close to the ZR1, but not faster, in terms of trap speed.

Ya, I'm assuming once it starts to gain some speed it will do so quickly. The start will be its hardest part, which for a lot of RWD cars it is

You can't not compare anything against the GTR, since it's the standard of the "affordable" cars in the 1/4 mile.
Everyone knows that realistically it won't run a quicker 1/4 run than the GT-R. |
