One more thing that is being overlooked here...
2013 GTR MSRP = ~$100,000 2013 GT500 MSRP = ~$55,000 Not bashing or anything but I'd hope a car that costs almost double as much would be quicker Last edited by Sibze; 04-28-2012 at 09:39 AM. |

It is quicker, hp isn't everything.

I assumed you were making the comparo because of the gt500's higher hp numbers

No no, everyone up above was saying that the GTR is quicker and I do not argue with that. I just think the GTR is a completely different class of Vehicle. I don't think just because HP numbers are around the same, lower or higher you can compare a $100,000 vehicle to a $55,000 vehicle. IF a $55,000 vehicle COULD beat a $100,000 vehicle regardless of who makes it, shame on the one that costs $100,000

It's not going to be quicker in the 1/4 then the GTR without slicks but it sure will be faster.. I bet 1/4 MPH is going to be in the 130's

I don't think it will be in the 130s. I think it will be close to the ZR1, but not faster, in terms of trap speed.

Depends what your talking about. Straight line the stang will take it. On the track it won't have a chance. A Ferrari California is 200k+ and isn't that fast at all. Just cause something costs a certain price doesn't mean it should be this or that. Cars cost different prices for a different reason.
