The Smart doesn't inspire me.

That's like saying that Kobe Bryant is a better basketball player than Kathy Bates.

The same here. The Smart car blows a fatty. The two kind of resemble each other almost.

I saw a gray Abarth today. Looks great with the red stripes. Reminds me I need to get the red stripes on the 5.0. :icon17:

There are a handful out in the wild now. I'm actually going to be at Katies on Saturday and there will be a White one with the red stripes there so I may get a photo op. If I do I'll post up the pics.

Latest C&D rag had a comparo with the Works Cooper. They like the Mini better, but the sticker shock gives advantage to the Fiat imo

That seems to be the general results when compared. Mini can't beat the Abarth in price, but it all boils down to the individual. Yes, the Mini S has more power and all but the Abarth has a lot going for it as well. Mini has been around for a while now and the prices keep going up. You can get into an Abarth for much less, then mod the heck out of it for relatively cheap. The fact the aftermarket from Italy is teaming up with MOPAR means lots of things are coming fairly quickly for U.S. Abarth owners.

The Abarth Driving Experience site is now open for registration by Abarth owners. Looks like Pat and I are going to New Jersey in August!

After watching the top gear episode (the real top gear) reviewing the abarth they seemed to love it for the fun factor it brings. From what I understood they like it better than any other hatch they tested.
