No not an SI or a Mazda speed 3

So thank you so much my z friends :-) I ended up purchasing tonight well placing an order for a 2012 Subaru Impreza Wrx wagon limited edition. I also got leather heated seats an navigation I made them throw in the auto diminig mirror window tint and clear bra including fenders hood and mirrors. 6 week wait! I got the car for 28,300 but I want to throw in more stuff today... Hopefully not too late

m4a1mustang 04-13-2012 06:46 AM

Good call. Should be perfect for hauling your photo gear around and handling CO winters.

shadoquad 04-13-2012 07:11 AM

I hope your new Impreza treats you well. Most subarus are great vehicles.

juicypinkkk 04-13-2012 08:11 AM

GRATS. Enjoy the torque. Did you trade in the Si?

sfearl1 04-13-2012 08:26 AM

Guessing wagon = hatchback? I wanted one of these before the Z, and was so close to trading in my Evo X for one. What color did you get?

k20z3 04-13-2012 09:22 AM

Thanks guys I ordered pearl white! In trying to see if they can add a couple more options before or submit
To the order hopefully they can

XwChriswX 04-13-2012 09:37 AM

Nice! That was an even better option than the Si or MS3 but I didn't wanna derail your previous thread.

Looking forward to the pick up date. :excited:

k20z3 04-13-2012 09:38 AM

Haha thanks Chris it was an obvious choice I got the usaa price plus 1,000 off that price and clear bra and tint! So now I want to add the exhaust finishers subwoofer

ZMan8 04-13-2012 10:02 AM

goo choice indeed

Huck 04-13-2012 10:04 AM

Cmike2780 04-13-2012 10:06 AM

Heck yeah, a good intake/downpipe/cbe will net you a lot of gains for the price. Then a good tune and you'll be set.

The Dealership is doing the clear bra? Or are they sending it somewhere?

k20z3 04-13-2012 10:22 AM

I'm sure they'll have a professional do it it's
Done at dealer

juicypinkkk 04-13-2012 10:28 AM

Did you tell them EXACTLY what you wanted done? If you want the FULL front end done, bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors? Is it written down verbatim on the We Owe form?

Because I wanted this done, and all they wrote down was 'clear bra' Instead of getting what I wanted I got a crappy install job, there was actually debris trapped underneath the clear bra, it's a crappy material, it doesn't go over the edges, and it only covers 1/3rd of the hood, and 6" of the front of the fenders and half of the mirrors.

What happens is they tell their vendor what model of car it is, and they have a computer cut it out based on a template they have in the database for the machine that cuts the material out. Instead of wrapping your car individually. I didn't find this out until I went to pick my car up AFTER the job was done.

I was sooooo pissed. Not to mention I paid 2x what it cost to do the job I wanted, for a job I didn't want. Don't make my mistake. :shakes head:

Thanks for all your help guys ! I added more things do I ended up paying like 28800 instead or close lr to 29 but saved usaa price with navi and leather plus clear bra and auto dimming for 28350. But added. 700 more dollars subwoofer etc

phelan 04-13-2012 11:48 AM

one word of warning: if you're bumping music loud, and you upgraded the sub, you may want to invest in some sound dampening material into the doors. there's a lot of resonance and vibration if the bass hits it hard.

k20z3 04-13-2012 11:53 AM

should I opt out of the subwoofer then it's subarus subwoofer

k20z3 04-13-2012 11:57 AM

Cause that was the last order I put in if not I can ask th to remove that option..

phelan 04-13-2012 12:38 PM

Personally? I would do without the subwoofer, and if i want better audio, go aftermarket.

Just get the sound deadening material in there first!
