If you are buying the car at the USAA price then you are getting a pretty good deal.
|
Okay good they're also giving me 855$ more for my SI!
|
get the MS3 already and post some pics!
or consider the WRX :stirthepot: |
I like the Si for it's reliability. The MS3 is more performance for what you are paying, however I can't stand the looks and I don't know... the boosted engine + reliability I don't really trust it. That being said, I'm suprised insurance is a problem. Here in Toronto, the Si and MS3 have higher insurance rates than the Z. I pay double for my Si vs. my Z, because the Si is a younger persons car in general.

I'd probably choose the WRX, lol. Widebody ftw.
But seeing as though k20 has problems already choosing a car, MS3 !! |
ahaha Im just playin with phelan. I would take a MS3 over a WRX after driving both, and obviously STI over the MS3!
|
^ yea, I love the STi. If it wernt for the fact that the Z is so bubly and cute and good looking and perfect, etc. I'd buy the STi.
|
if you havent decided yet get the Honda.Vtech is soooooooo fast :ugh2: :bowrofl:

I was considering Si or MS3 and I finally chose Si. Because of the resell value.
If you are talking about 8th gen Si and previous MS3, I would go with Si But you are talking about new model, I would go with MS3. Si lost high rev and no more 8300RPM... I had K24 same engine on my old Accord and response was pretty good but compared to what you drive K20Z you are going to miss high rev engine. I would go with something more powerful and more room. 9th Gen Si is still fun to drive and nice car! |
I've owned a 2009 Mazdaspeed3 and it is indeed a very preppy quick car. The torque is crazy on that car. The new model is just too gay (as in happy). Big smiling front bumper. Headlights and taillights are ugly. Styling is subjective, but many agree that it's ugly compared to the last generation. The power is nice, but owners had the hardest time pushing more than 300whp because the motor couldn't hold it. From what I can recall, the rear motor mount is very weak and breaks. The engine moves like crazy under the hood. Torque steer is very apparant.

I'm also lookin at now an impreza wrx limited hatch....
|
Vtakkkkkkkk!
|
so i see that you added the wrx into the mix.
in this case, wrx-hatch (the one that looks like the STI-hatch). is that a 2011? those are cool. wide, round, good looks and has better foot well area for rear passengers vs the MS3. i know cause i was on the fense to buy MS3 or STI a while back. |
Go with the wrx like most Si owners do.

Yeah.. on 8thcivic.com, most of the people upgrade to WRX or STi from the Si.

^ lol 31K must be a joke. Well, I mean, if anyone bought it for that much at least. I can forsee the BR-Z STi coming out in about a year or two max afterwards for around that price once the prices have went down, and those people will be so angry lol.
