I agree, get a regular WRX say 10-11, and just make it a sleeper STi. That's my plan when I can get my hands on an 03 bugeye.
04-05 wouldn't be bad either, I'd even stretch for an 06 if the price was right.

That's someone taking snow treads and putting them on. Awesome for a snow track haha! It's because they have so much TQ.

I just don't see why you'd want to downgrade from a 370 to a 350. You lose so much more than just cheaper payments...
Hence why an STi or even an Evo would be a much better choice. It's cheaper and already comes boosted. With less $$ in aftermarket parts you have a higher performing car.

I lost my first 350 in a wreck, then purchased a brand new 2011 Evo X and went stage 2 almost immediately. Look where I ended up
The performance was fun, but if OP is truly looking to "downgrade", he probably won't be happy jumping to a mid 2000's WRX from a 370. I wasn't happy with the Evo. Then again, if looks aren't high on the list... A boosted 350 would be a lateral step from a 370. Cheaper, still a Z, and fast.

I wouldn't consider a 350 in the same realm as a 370 on any day. Not a lateral movement for me, but that's just my of course. Not meant to troll.

Having owned both, I agree that the 370 is a step above the 350. With a turbo though, a 350 will lay down decent power. Maybe not exactly lateral, but a backward half step over there to the side kinda move

Every day I go back and forth between keeping and selling. Man, why is this so hard???? Today I don't feel like selling it. Tomorrow I will probably come back to this thread and look at some of the other options listed

As someone who was in a similiar situation to you, I would advise against it, if you can afford the payments.
I graduated a couple years ago, landed a lucarative job on wall st., bought my Z a few months later. 7 months later, I didnt feel like continuting my ~$400/month payments, and sold it. The next time I saw a Z on the road i immediatley regreted my decision. I traded it for a freakin jeep liberty, and couldnt stand not having the Z. Ended up selling the Jeep after 3 months, and bought a 3 series coupe, costing me $600 a month. Still not satisifed, and I am now looking for a cayman, which will likely run me another $900 a month. I wish I could go back and keep my Z. Had i not had such favorable mods on my old Z, i'd have bought another one, however I did not want to go through the hassle of making a new one look like my old.
