And don't for a second think I'm joking! ;)

If the guy wants to change things up, let him. I swear some owners here get so butthurt when ANY other car is mentioned as a possible competitor. Just chill. It's all gravy. :icon17:

Hmm so the car guzzles more gas, doesn't look as nice, in a few months you'll see one on every block, and last time I checked the speed limit hadn't been raised so unless you plan on tracking the car what's the allure of the huge HP bump? Racing people off of stop lights?

I really don't understand in this day and age why people are still so gaga over horsepower. Anything over 350hp for a daily driver is really unnecessary unless you're on the autobahn.

Sorry just my 2 cents...

Anything over 100HP is really unnecessary for a DD, so, why even get a Z?

I think heavier cars definitely benefit from having more power. Maybe 3,500 lbs. needs 300+ horsepower.

Cars lighter than 3,000 lbs. can make due with 100-200 horsepower, but could use more.

This isn't really news. The Mustang was always priced this reasonably for that much performance.

It's a nice car.

Personally, I wouldn't want to take the depreciation hit on trading my Z. It's two years old, just went over 20k on the odo, and it's paid off. If I had never bought the Z, I might have bought a Mustang.

I also hear that Nissan is also offering 0% financing on the 2012 370z just to compete with Ford. Don't know if it's true, but Nissan is lacking against Ford.

Nissan needs to turbo the Z to compete...

After sitting in a few, no way would i ever trade a Z for it. Maybe for the boss, but even with that I don't ever see this thing feeling as nice as the Z.

Was it really that bad? I've never driven one so I would love to know why you would say that.

It feels different. "better" is subjective. Take one for a spin.

Yea I'll go in for a test drive this weekend to have a personal opinion of it. Are the 2013's even out yet?

Stop making sense in a car comparison thread.
