2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Matches ZL1’s $54,995
|
Now all that's lacking are performance numbers!
Looks like Ford vs. Chevy is back 110%. |
That's great news!!! Ford gt500 is going to slaughter the ZL1
|
yea, the gt500 will deffinitley take the ZL1 in sales, i believe.
Would be wise for chevy to boost the SS' horsepower passed the 5.0's 420hp. It's due for an increase/change, and could win some sales from ford on the lower end. |

Fully decked out I priced out the GT500 at $66,000! Not bad for that much HP! and not to mention the car has data acquisition from the factory for the race track!!! Woot Woot!

For that kind of money you are in M3/Z06/used gtr territory, all of which I would rather have over a $70k mustang. Regardless of performance. |
+! ^^
i think i would spring for the GT500 at the entry price. fully decked out price, i'd rather hop into a GTR or M3. |

Wow.
Not that I'm complaining, because I think it's awesome, but man, car performance ratios in the last 5 - 10 years are off the chart. Who would have predicted this kind of ridiculousness even just 5 years ago? If there was a graph of car HP and performance over the last 100 years, until 2000 it would be like a long slow steady incline. From 2000 - 2005 it would start going up hill quickly. But from 2005 until now, it would look like a straight up cliff. Wow, this is just crazy nuts awesome. Ralph Nader has to be hating this trend.

It's called a sleeper hahahaha. And I would much rather grab a slightly used Any of those others stated above. I would get the ZL1 over the stang, but owning a camaro I guess I'm biased lol. I have driven many GT500's and have done nothing but break loose every time I get behind the wheel |
