I ran across and interesting article that explains the differences between Dealer glass, OEM glass, OEE glass and aftermarket glass. I am not endorsing this company that posts the differences but the page is quite informative Auto Glass Article.
Apparently the highest quality are Dealer and OEM glass (but there are some specific differences as the article explains). After that there is OEE glass (which is what safelight and other places may provide). And then the lowest quality is usually aftermarket glass. |

The glass is oem from Japan, and the manager told me that the type of bead they apply is of oem shape and size vs. The "round" bead some other shops draw. So far it sounds good. |

On the bottom their are 2 tabs so when he puts the cowl back on it lines up where it should. If it has all these tabs on it a blind monkey with boxing gloves on @ night couldn't Fvck this up. Good luck

It's definitely oem Nissan. I went myself to the dealer to verify that it was oem. They confirmed that it was ordered through them and was. So I can for sure count on it having tabs?

The problem with windshield companies (ours too) is that no matter how many times a glass tech has removed a particular windshield sh!t still breaks. When mine broke I had my co replace the windshield in my car but I still disassembled it and removed the glass myself, the tech that came to put it in (I knew him)when Tom saw my car he understood why I removed it myself,he prep the glass I helped him set it and he left and I put the rest of my car back together myself. Our glass co is one of the best in Atlanta but Tom(20 years exp.)completely understood why I did what I did. You'll be fine

There are other threads I made one about mine, and no those tabs cannot be removed from your windshield to be put on a aftermarket one this is one of the reasons those windshields are cheaper the aftermarket co. doesn't have to buy them and figure out where they go.
