I know, I know, I drive a 370Z now, but I still like making these posts and appreciate the performance aspect that GM brings to the table.

ZL1 is impressive, but kind of eclipsed the Z06 also...for over $20k less
$54k for a Camaro is pretty crazy though.

The ZL1 is gonna be a bad ride for sure. Lots of tech in that car to make people better drivers than they are.
I've got a 600RWHP Dodge Challenger (built motor and supercharger on 12psi) and it is a real handful. I was intending to purchase a Camaro, but after sitting in one and feeling how cheap the materials were I passed. I hope they do a better job with that on the ZL1. I recently drove a 2012 GT500 and that is a bad boy. The exhaust note is fantastic. The 2013 with 650HP is gonna be awesome. I just hope they improve the suspension a bit to help with putting that power down. |

As much as I love imports, nothing beats the sound of a V8 in my opinion. Serious skill in that video, too.

What really surprised me was the Dodge had better quality! I always thought Dodge were POS till I test drove the Challenger. I'd say the interior is probably even a bit higher quality materials than the Z. Most of it was designed and parts used from Mercedes so that may be why.
