2009 Devon Motorworks Places Only Bid to Buy Viper from Dodge

Devon Motorworks, a small coachbuilder, has put in the sole bid to buy the Viper from Chrysler. Unfortunately for Chrysler their offer is about half what Chrysler is asking.

Devon is currently working on the GTX, which is based on the Viper, and plans to debut the car at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours. -BC

Wow this could be a reflection of the future Viper Aesthetics? Ford GT-ish styling with Viper guts? Who knows.

Guess we have to wait and see if anyone else throws their hat in the ring.

I'd like to take a poll of how many people in this forum have wrecked a viper and I don't mean in the way Devon has or is.
