Like the title says... would you purchase a R34 if nissan decides to reintroduce it but redesigned it a bit to fit the american market. Ex: switching it to left hand drive rather than the right hand drive like the rest of the world.

I definitely would and I think nissan should reintroduce some of their old cars.

sfearl1 02-22-2012 11:06 PM

umm, wouldn't that be like Nissan reintroducing the Z33??

ZMan8 02-22-2012 11:06 PM

No questions well besides price. R34 GTR was like 60K.

In the mean time, im waiting for 2014! when the R32 GTR will become legal to import under the 25 year clause (build dates in 89)

yes, except z33 did not have the same hype/appeal the Skylines did. Those cars were called godzilla for a reason.

Waiz 02-23-2012 02:14 AM

No sir, I would rather wait for my R36 ;)

ImportConvert 02-23-2012 03:39 AM

Ummm. No.

Why would you?

Kingbaby 02-23-2012 07:05 AM

LoL

m4a1mustang 02-23-2012 07:07 AM

Uh... no.

Even if it is a terrible idea, I think they should still at least sell an updated shell where people can piece together there own car like what ford does.

Now that would be cool. R34 kit car. :icon17:

ZMan8 02-23-2012 10:50 AM

people already import them as kit cars in a bunch of pieces and some states let you register them as "kit" cars.

I agree the new one is even better the problem is the new one does not have the same exact appeal. The new one is one of the best cars in the world as far as performance goes. The old one, however, was easier to own IMO. There were less electronics and more self-tunability because of that for the do it at home types. If i got a R35, i would probably not be able to do a lot at home because the car is a supercomputer :icon17:

How do you figure? IMHO, I believe you're wrong. But, opinions are like a$$holes.... everyone has one.
