Yeah, my fair weather drop top third car can't handle tires with less than 10/10 rain traction.

Star specs are fine in the rain unless you can't drive.

Minimum rim width for the 285 RE-11 is 9.5". My wheels are 9" wide.

I am still not 100% sure if 275s up front will rub or not.

How long do the star specs last? I want a set of tires to last at least two summers.

Depends how you drive. Probably 15k, not rotated with mixed driving.

im here to troll steve. okay so the 5.0 is much faster than the z but the z looks better while the s2k handles better than the 5.0 and the z, but the z is faster than the s2k. TROLLLOOOLLLOOOLLLL

so how u liking your s2k steve?? hit the mountains yet??

I like it a lot. Haven't hit the mountains yet but I have taken it on some of the twisty roads here. Lots of fun. It's just a big go-kart.
