Unicorn spit.

I was wondering how long 'til unicorn something popped up. :icon17:

I figure I'll need a soft brush and some sort of convertible top soap. :p

Someone tell me what I should use to clean and protect the top.

I've heard of a lot of people using 303 Aerospace Protectant for the tops.
I thinks it's like a sunscreen kind of thing that repels uv rays.

So tonight in the airport parking garage I noticed a click from the left rear wheel when accelerating from a stop. I think it's an issue of the spindle nut not being tight enough. I did some searching and it seems like this is the case. My only fear is that due to the mileage on the car it might be too late to get by with just re-tightening and re-staking (or completely replacing) the spindle nut. I might need to replace the hub and wheel bearing as well. Though I didn't notice it when testing the car last week, so maybe it's a new development and re-tightening will be fine.

Parts are not expensive, but it seems like a PITA. I guess I'll look into it this weekend.

In happier news, the suitcase fits!

Congrats on the new ride Steve! The S2k is the perfect car to toy with...I would love to get one, house first though.

m4a1mustang 02-14-2012 09:00 AM

Thanks! I doubt I'll buy any other cars before a house. Hard to tell, though. Content with apartment living 'til I am 100% sure where I'm going to be for a while.

So now that car purchase shock is wearing off, I am going back to putting Michelin PSS on the 5.0 and Conti DW on the S2K. :icon17:

I can't get the RE11 in any size that will work with the stock wheels.

My only real options are PSS in OEM size 255/40/19 (27" tall) or 275/35/19 (26.6" tall).
